About
Kia ora, I'm Guy. I have a diverse skillset that ranges from insight-gathering and visual communication to design strategy, facilitation, and service design. Over the past ten years, I’ve applied these tools to complex problems in education, healthcare, and local government. My work primarily focuses on:
Designing better products, services, and experiences for end-users
Working with communities to develop more inclusive strategies and policies for organisations
Supporting teams to develop their skills in Human-Centred Design, Design Thinking, and Co-design
I hold a Master's in Social Anthropology from the University of Auckland (2013) and a PhD in Design from AUT’s Faculty of Design and Creative Technologies (2020), where I explored how co-design can support older adults experiencing memory problems.
I’m always on the lookout for exciting new projects that make a positive impact. So if you have an idea or opportunity you would like to discuss, get in touch!
